That was quick!
Following Susan's link to Fluffy Knitter Deb's how-to on crocheting the beads onto the shawl, I went to Beadwrangler's shop to get my crochet hooks and a few more beads. I ordered on Monday and got them today! So I guess I would have to highly recommend the Beadwrangler - I love fast shipping :)

I'm looking forward to see your shawl with the beads.
I'm doing the shawl with beads too and wondering if you can tell me how many I will need because I'm thinking of going with semi-precious gemstones if I can get something small enough. I'm making the shawl as a bridal gift for a young friend of mine so thought I could splurge a bit if it doesn't take too many. I can of course just always do the math. It wouldn't kill me and I'm still only on the fourth repeat of Chart A so I have some time before I have to have the beads in hand.
